Purpose of the V:TES Leagues (2026-2027)
The 2026-2027 V:TES Leagues, in their fourth edition, aim to build on the success of previous editions. By involving the whole Spanish and Portuguese community, the intention is that novice and veteran players alike have a busy calendar of events where they can play and meet people who share their hobby, beyond their local group.
The purpose of the V:TES Leagues is to promote the game by establishing a regular calendar of tournaments, to encourage competition and the learning of the participants, and to foster interaction between different play groups. Without forgetting that the main purpose is to have fun. Remember that this is a game.
This 2026-2027 edition is organised under the responsibility and direction of the Cónclave Ibérico: Asociación de amigos de Vampire: The Eternal Struggle, in collaboration with Black Chantry Productions and thanks to the selfless work of the officers, the princes and the rest of the community's collaborators.
The growing number of players makes us very optimistic about this new edition. That said, given the scale the Leagues are reaching, the rules presented here may require some amendment by the organisation in order to address unforeseen circumstances.
General format of the V:TES Leagues
The V:TES Leagues comprise the various Regional Leaguesand, running alongside them, the Iberian League, which rewards the best players in the whole peninsula.
Each Regional League will have a different number of rounds, at the discretion of each region's committee, and they must conform to the following structure:
Territorial Definition
Define the region geographically, providing a list of the princes who will organise the tournaments.
Number of Tournaments
Organise between 5 and 10 league tournaments spread between September 2026 and July 2027. In addition, a Final Tournament (open or invitational) may optionally be organised, and it must be included in the League Calendar.
Calendar Submission
Submit the tournament calendar to the Cónclave Ibérico email address ([email protected]) before 15 August 2026, stating at least the month in which each tournament will be held and the organising prince. (See annex).
League Committee
Form a league committee of three active players from the region.
Management support: use the web tool archon.vekn.net and fill in the Cónclave's official tournament tracking spreadsheet. The format of every tournament will be standard, following the VEKN rules.
Promo Allocation
Adhere to the guidelines on which promotional card is distributed on each league round.
Reserved Dates
Do not organise league tournaments on the weekend before or coinciding with the Portuguese National Championship, the Spanish National Championship and the Iberian GP.
Tournament announcements
Tournaments must be announced at least 30 days in advance by means of a poster including the tournament details and the Cónclave Ibérico logo. That poster must also be published on the association's social networks.
2.1. Regional / Territorial Leagues
The regular league tournaments will be organised by the princes of the area and will run in a format of 2 rounds plus a final or 3 rounds with or without a final, at the organiser's discretion. A maximum of one tournament per month will be held, according to the calendar set by the princes in August 2026. VEKN tournament rules are mandatory.
In each tournament every player's scores are added up and accumulated across the regular league tournaments. Only the general rounds of the tournaments are taken into account (finals do not count towards the regular ranking). The ranking is established on GW, VP and TP.
Where a given region considers it necessary, two different tournaments may be organised for the same round at venues that are far apart geographically. In that case each player will receive only one promo for that month and, if they take part in both events of the month, their best result will score for the regional and Iberian leagues.
After each tournament the league standings will be updated. After the last tournament (and before the invitational final, if it is held), the final ranking of the league will be known. The player with the highest score will be the winner of the Regional League, the second will be runner-up and the third will take third place.
The organising prince must hand over to their regional league committee between €1 and €2 per participant in the tournament (as approved in its regional definition); those funds will be used to reward the best placed players at the end of the regional league.
Tournament venues must be large enough to host a tournament of at least 20 players.
2.2. Regional Final Tournament (Optional)
The final tournament of each league is optional. It will be played once the regular tournaments have finished and will not count towards the standings. Each league committee may freely decide how the tournament is accessed (best placed players or open). The winner of the final tournament will be the Champion of the region until the end of the following edition (different from the winner of the regular league).
The final tournament will have its own prizes at the organiser's discretion and is exempt from the per-player levy for the committee, since the league will have ended.
2.3. The Iberian League (Interterritorial)
The Iberian League is the overall ranking supervised by the Cónclave Ibérico, which seeks to encourage participation and healthy competitiveness across all the territories of Spain and Portugal. The ranking is established on GW, VP and TP.
Standard Count
As standard, each player is credited with a maximum score based on their 5 best league tournaments.
Mobility Bonus
Players who play a tournament of another League may count one additional tournament, that is, they will add up their 6 best tournaments.
Assignment to a League
Assignment is calculated automatically from where the player plays. Each player is assigned to the League in which they have played the most tournaments in the season, and that is their "own league" for every purpose: the count in Point 2 and the regional standings.
In the event of a tie —the same number of tournaments played in two or more Leagues— the player is assigned to the first League they played in that season, that is, the one of the earliest tournament among the tied Leagues.
The Iberian Archon: at the end of the last round of the territorial league season, the player who finishes first in the overall Iberian League standings will be proclaimed with the title of Iberian Archon until the end of the following edition.
2.4. Naming protocol for league tournaments in the Archon app
To make it easier to track attendance accurately and to guarantee the full transparency of the circuit, every official tournament belonging to the leagues must comply with the following title format within the archon.vekn.net:

League committees and control system
3.1. League Committee
The regional league committee will be chosen and coordinated by the C.I. officer or officers of that community, and the Board of the Cónclave Ibérico will be informed. It must be made up of three members active in the community who can commit to carrying out the following duties:
- Safeguard the money collected per participant at each regular league tournament.
- Apply common sense to any unforeseen matter that may affect the League, and support the decision taken by the majority of the committee.
- Decide on, buy and fund the prizes for the best placed players.
- Hand out the corresponding promotional cards to the participants.
- Give the events, the prizes and the gifts as much publicity as possible through social networks, themed WhatsApp groups, posters, and so on.
3.2. Monthly Promo Distribution
The officers of each territory will keep a detailed record of the participants and will be directly responsible for correctly allocating and handing out the corresponding promos.
This season's promos are funded 50% by Black Chantry Productions and 50% by the Cónclave Ibérico. Monthly promotional cards will be given exclusively to the participants who attend. Every league will receive the monthly promo as follows:

3.3. Distribution of Regularity and Territorial Inclusion Promos (Special Promo)
The Special Promo for taking part in other leagues or for loyalty is Grazyna.
With the firm intention of rewarding regular participation in one's own League and encouraging interregional mobility, the Cónclave Ibérico establishes the following model for distributing promotional material:
Promos by Volume of Play
Each player will receive 1 Special Promo for every 5 tournaments played in the official league circuit (whether in their own league or another).
Regularity Award
Players who show exceptional commitment and attend every official round of their regular league, or all but one (N-1), will receive 1 additional Special Promo at the end of the season.
Travel Award
Players who travel to leagues other than the one they are assigned to will receive 1 Special Promo.
Double Round Limit: in regions or territories that decide to organise two tournaments within the same round (double rounds), for the purposes of counting tournaments played towards the Regularity promos and the overall standings, only a maximum of 1 tournament per round will be counted for each player.
The management of the Cónclave Ibérico will recover any leftover promos at the end of the regional leagues.
The batch of loyalty cards intended for the award for every 5 tournaments played or for maximum attendance will be managed in parallel through the Archon record keeping carried out by the area officers. Each player must request those promos from the officer of their area.
Prizes and rewards
4.1. Prizes of the Regional / Territorial Leagues
The prizes of the regional leagues will be decided by each territorial committee under the principle of full freedom as to distribution, amount or nature (sealed product or V:TES merchandising). No organiser will receive any financial remuneration for their organising duties under any circumstances. However, to secure a decent institutional reward on the podium, the following guideline is set:
Minimum Podium Guarantee and Transparency: the organising committees of each League must compulsorily set aside an amount of between €1 and €2 per participant of the funds collected, to be allocated exclusively as a prize fund for the best placed players (rewarding at least the top 3 of the regular ranking is recommended, but it is at each committee's discretion).
4.2. Prizes of the Iberian League (Cónclave Ibérico)
The overall prizes of the Iberian League will be sponsored 100% by the Cónclave Ibérico. The following competitive performance awards will be granted:
Champion of the Iberian League
Official Champion trophy for the outright winner of the Iberian League (Iberian Archon).
Prize for the General Top 5
The top 5 of the Interterritorial League will receive a paid entry for the Spanish National Championship, the Portuguese National Championship or the Iberian GP (at the player's own choice). In the event of a tie (most likely for fifth place) it will be decided by a coin toss.
Non-attendance Clause: should an awarded player be unable to take part in any of the three eligible events due to force majeure or scheduling problems, they will instead receive a credit of thirty euros to redeem at a shop selling V:TES product. The prizes of the Iberian League are personal and non-transferable, so they may not be passed on to third parties under any circumstances.
Code of good conduct for players
From a tournament circuit organised at this level, exemplary behaviour is expected from each and every participant, whether players, organisers and/or judges. In addition, a healthy competitive environment must be promoted, one where newer players are helped to learn to play better and better.
All League events on the Iberian Peninsula are governed by the VEKN code of conduct and its code of ethics. The specifics of organising the tournaments remain the responsibility of the prince organising the event.

Guide to good behaviour
13 basic principles for playing with respect and enjoying it together- Respect freedom of play. Do not emotionally blackmail others or threaten to sabotage the game if it is not played the way you want. Every player has the right to play their own way. Do not criticise or impose your point of view.
- Mind your tone and the way you give your opinion. Avoid raising your voice even when you are right, speaking with contempt or using hostile language. Calm down if you are asked to.
- Do not argue constantly. If something bothers you, say it calmly. If the situation gets out of hand, ask for outside intervention.
- Be constructive with your advice. Do not give unsolicited lessons during the game. If you want to comment on something, wait until the end and do it tactfully.
- Do not criticise other people's decks. Disparaging comments never add anything. If you have useful suggestions, share them when the game is over.
- Know your deck. You do not need to know every card, but you do need to know yours. Playing unprepared wastes everyone's time.
- Stay focused during the game. Avoid unnecessary distractions. If you need to talk or step away, say so.
- Respect the pace of play. Not everyone plays at the same speed. Do not rush others and, when it is your turn, play briskly and with focus.
- Tolerate the randomness of the game. Sometimes you will have bad luck or a difficult position. Accept it without complaining constantly.
- Do not play the victim or complain too much. Complaining all the time creates a bad atmosphere and makes others not want to play with you again.
- Accept other people's decisions. If an opponent decides something you do not like, accept it. Every player has the right to choose their own path. You can offer suggestions respectfully and without insisting too much.
- Do not look down on less skilled players. We all have the right to play and to improve. If you cannot teach patiently, it is better not to lecture.
- Remember that it is a game. Do not turn the game into a personal drama. We are here to have fun, not to look for anything else.
Form for joining the VTES League circuit
Each promoting community or region (Spain and Portugal) must send to the Cónclave Ibérico email address ([email protected]), a formal document setting out the following points before the deadline:

- Official name of the territorial/regional league.
- Identity of the 3 members of the Territorial Organising Committee.
- List of the organising Princes involved.
- Tentative competition calendar (stating the estimated month and venue of each round).
- Explicit statement of intent regarding the organisation of the Regional Final Tournament (Yes / No).
- Estimated volume of promotional cards requested for the season.
- Collection fee per participant chosen for the regional prize fund (Between €1 and €2).
